This is really not okay.
I think some people fail to realize that men can be sexually assaulted, too, and not just by other men. This girl shoves him against the wall and slaps him three fucking times when he pushes her away. Heck, he has to push her away twice before she backs off for a moment. Then she goes right back to kissing him.
If the genders were reversed, everyone on this site would be flipping a shit. And if anyone dares to tell me that it’s different when a girl does it to a guy, I will personally write you a three-page essay on why it is still not okay.

I just want to smash my head into a wall. These Makorra- and Mako-stans are the worst. They defend Mako no matter what, and they also don’t spare with insults.They say it was good that Mako didn’t want to tell Asami about the kiss with Korra, because that would cause drama. And they defend his cheating, too. Yeah. Really great.
Goddamnit, I really hate these people. I hate this fucking fandom sometimes.

Also I looked up the definition of cheating, that’s not the only meaning.
Cheating is someone who “defrauds, decieves, a person who acts dishonestly”. Hmmmmm a person who ACTS dishonestly? Hello there Mako, way to keep the truth from your girlfriend.
Let’s look at the definition of unfaithful…shall we?
The first meaning right off the bat to Unfaithful is…
“not faithful; false to duty, obligation, or promises; faithless; disloyal.”
It’s not about sex. Btw, kissing IS an act of sexual advances. What are you in Jr. High? Kissing by nature is while something we do to express affection, with lovers, it’s like the G-rated version of a sexual advance (unless you are making out). Kissing, holding hands, arm on the shoulder, all ways to show that you are into that person, and progressively where a relationship STARTS before it gets to the sex.
So yeah, Mako cheated on her. He didn’t have sex with Korra, but that was still unfaithful. He’s still not apologizing for it. And the main issue most people have with Mako is NOT THAT he kissed Korra back, it’s the fact that he DIDN’T TELL ASAMI and is STILL NOT APOLOGIZING FOR IT, WHILE flaunting around his AFFECTION FOR KORRA in FRONT OF ASAMI.
GET. YOUR. FACTS. STRAIGHT!
I’ll buy that “being a typical teenage boy” garbage when you ladies actually say that when your boyfriends do this to you…see if you find it typical “boys will be boys”. I highly doubt any of you would be OKAY with what Mako is doing if you were in Asami shoes.
